The world’s largest retailer is pushing a new menu item on its breakfast menu that promises to save you on sugar: Coconut sugar donUTs.
The chain has created an online tool that can be used to track how much sugar you eat.
To track the total calories in your breakfast, you’ll have to sign up for the program, which is only available for a limited time.
The program will cost $4.99 a month and will only work on purchases of $50 or more.
If you’re still interested in trying it out, you can check out the full program here.
But while this is a new idea for a large brand, Trader Joe is far from alone in using the sugar-free option.
Earlier this year, Trader Joes said it would start giving away free donuts to customers who sign up to participate in its “No Sugar” initiative.
You can see the full menu here.
The company is also offering free sugar-reduced breakfast cereal and a “healthy breakfast” to its customers this fall.
Trader Joe has a long history of helping people reduce sugar and its new offer is no different.
